Araku Valley’s medium roast coffee is grown at elevations ranging from 2,953 to 4,265 ft in the lush Eastern Ghats, spanning the Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh and parts of Odisha. The combination of altitude and organic cultivation results in a rich flavor profile with notes of strawberry, wild berries, and peach. This coffee is nurtured by local tribal communities, with women playing an essential role at every stage from tending the crops to carefully handpicking the cherries. Their involvement and attention to detail are key to the exceptional quality of Araku coffee.
